Teacher Aide – Low Vision Support (Fixed-Term)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teacher Aide to support a student with low vision. This is a rewarding yet challenging role requiring a strong understanding of the needs of students with visual impairments and a commitment to supporting their learning, confidence, and independence.

Previous experience working with students with low vision or additional learning needs is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide one-to-one support to assist with classroom learning and participation.
• Support the student's IEP implementation.
• Assist with organisation, navigation, and developing student independence.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.

We are looking for someone who is humble, reliable, adaptable, and able to build a positive relationship with the student while providing calm and consistent support in a special character Islamic school environment.

This is a fixed-term position ending on 11 December 2026.

The position's working hours are:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Friday: 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
