Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, Kia ora koutou katoa

Allah Subhana wa TaÁla reminds us in the Qur’an:

“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you.” 
(Surah Ibrahim 14:7)

Alhamdulillah, we begin this new year by thanking Allah Subhana wa TaÁla for granting us the opportunity to gather once again as a school community. We acknowledge the tangata whenua of this land and respectfully remember those who are no longer with us. 

It is my great pleasure to welcome you all. We are truly honoured that you have chosen Zayed College for Girls as the place where your daughter will continue her educational journey.

Zayed College for Girls is a school guided by a clear vision: academic excellence within a nurturing Islamic environment. Our students are grounded in our four KARE values—Kindness, Appreciation, Respect and Equity—which shape our learning, relationships and daily actions.

Our goal is to provide a rich and holistic education so that our students graduate not only with qualifications but as confident, resilient, lifelong learners who are ready to contribute positively to society. 

I am proud to share that our recent NCEA results continue to sit above the national average. This success is the result of the collective efforts of our dedicated staff, our hardworking students, and our supportive whānau. As the saying goes, it truly takes a village and we are deeply grateful for that partnership.
